Adoption Testimony

While I love helping people in any way that I can as an attorney, adoptions have a special place in my heart. While my dad was technically my stepdad from the time I was in elementary school until law school, to our family he was my dad because he raised me.

It wasn't until I was in law school that I learned my dad could legally become my dad even though I was already in my twenties. Once I found out that my dad could adopt me, we began the process immediately. Having my dad legally become my dad was such a great experience for all of us.

Having been adopted myself, I understand that sometimes family is who you choose and I truly love being able to help other people complete their families through the adoption process.
